Location & Map
While pristine and private, Eagle’s Watch is not isolated. It is located in Hampstead, North Carolina an emerging coastal community. The name dates back to the 19th century when the then-small hamlet of Topsail Sound was a railroad whistle stop re-named after an English town by rail workers. Hampstead has the oldest “home” standing in North Carolina, dating to the 1700s and is home to the protected Venus Fly Trap.
Today, Hampstead is a suburb of the city of Wilmington, with award-winning schools, several outstanding golf courses and three marinas. Hampstead’s business and professional district includes many retail stores and professional services including a number of medical practices and a new hospital annex planned in nearby Scotts Hill.
